Doing extra points properly
Old Belgrave homes often have screw-terminal wall plates that corrode. When we add a point we usually replace the old plates too, so the whole network performs.
Getting a stable picture in Belgrave
Heavy leaf litter in Belgrave gutters holds water against cable and connectors. We clip cable clear of gutters and seal the entry points so moisture stays out.
The steps
1. Run quad-shield cable
With compression connectors at both ends.
2. Fit the outlet
Flush wall plate, or weather-rated outdoors.
3. Tune the TVs
Every set rescanned.
