Doing extra points properly
Old Mornington homes often have screw-terminal wall plates that corrode. When we add a point we usually replace the old plates too, so the whole network performs.
Choosing where to point in Mornington
Beach-side units and apartments in Mornington often run on a shared antenna. When salt gets into the head-end amplifier, the whole building suffers. We service the shared system and report to the owners corporation.
The steps
1. Run quad-shield cable
With compression connectors at both ends.
2. Fit the outlet
Flush wall plate, or weather-rated outdoors.
3. Tune the TVs
Every set rescanned.
