Doing extra points properly
Old Rosanna homes often have screw-terminal wall plates that corrode. When we add a point we usually replace the old plates too, so the whole network performs.
Getting a clean signal into a Rosanna house
Front-room TV points in Rosanna period homes are often on a wall that has since been re-plastered. We can usually reuse the cavity and fit a modern outlet without disturbing the plaster.
The steps
1. Run quad-shield cable
With compression connectors at both ends.
2. Fit the outlet
Flush wall plate, or weather-rated outdoors.
3. Tune the TVs
Every set rescanned.
